Praise & Worship
Volume 208
We are a group of friends that have led worship together off and on over the last 10+ years and have now come together to start this worship project we call “Volume 208”. What students are saying about NYCR
FAQ's
Do I have to be in college to attend?
No, this retreat is for any student or adult who has graduated high school, 18 years of age, and up to the age of 26.
Will I get dirty?
Possibly, we have a variety of activities that take place outside (cave exploration, high ropes course, bonfire, etc.), and depending on the weather you could get dirty. There will be options available for those who do not want to be outside or get dirty.
Can we come as a whole group from a church or ministry program?
Yes, the registration process needs to be completed for each attendee, but you can come as a group once registered. This retreat is catered to growing together as young college adults. If you have questions about registration for a group, please call our registrar at 573.287.3288.
What is the purpose of this retreat?
The purpose of this retreat is to connect, focus, and refuel. We live in a fast-paced world, and it is our desire to pull away from that. We want you to connect with friends old and new, focus on the new season ahead, and refuel your life.
If I am the leader for the college ministry program, and I am coming with my students, how does it work?
Do I need to bring bedding and shower supplies?
Yes, we have bunk-style cabins, and you must bring your own twin-sized bedding or a sleeping bag and pillow. The cabins are community-style bathrooms, so you will need to bring items for showering, including a towel.
What are things I need to pack?
Cold weather clothing (hats, coats, boots, gloves). Clothes you can get muddy in. Close-toed shoes, athletic wear, plus any other clothes you want to pack. You will also want to bring your bible, notebook, writing utensils, twin-sized bedding, pillow, a towel, and shower supplies.
What if I have a food allergy?
Our kitchen staff is phenomenal at what they do, and they will guide you through each meal, making sure to meet your allergy requirements and get you the food you need. Please feel free to email our Director of Food Service with any questions or concerns at foodservice@eaglesky.camp.
How much does this cost?
If you are an Eagle Sky Alumni, it will cost you only $50. For all other students, it is only $75. This is the least expensive retreat that we offer here at ESO and one you will not want to miss.
Will I need any spending cash?
Yes, we have a coffee bar (hot specialty drinks and cold brew) and snacks that are available for purchase during free time and before chapels. We also have a camp store where you can grab some Eagle Sky swag. So don’t forget to bring a little extra spending cash or a major credit card.
