Overview
The Videographer at Eagle Sky Christian Challenge Camps is crucial in bringing the camp experience to life through engaging and inspiring video content. This position involves capturing and producing videos highlighting the camp’s daily activities, special events, and unique atmosphere. These videos will be used for promotional purposes, social media, and creating lasting memories for our guests. The videographer must be creative, adaptable, and passionate about storytelling through video, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with other team members.
Qualifications
- A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrating His Lordship and servant leadership in your work and interactions.
- Proven experience in videography, with a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to create dynamic, high-quality videos.
- Proficiency in using professional video equipment, including cameras, gimbals, microphones, and editing software such as Davinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of video composition, lighting, sound, and editing techniques to produce polished and engaging content.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other staff members and interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines while covering multiple daily events and activities.
Responsibilities
- Daily Quiet Time: Dedicate personal time each day to connect with the Lord and seek His guidance for your creative work.
- Event Coverage: Capture and produce high-quality video content of daily activities, worship services, special events, and the overall camp environment.
- Editing and Production: Edit and produce videos daily, ensuring they are ready for use in promotional materials, social media, and guest memory packages.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, event coordinators, and other staff to ensure that critical moments and messages are effectively captured and communicated.
- Creativity: Develop creative concepts and storyboards for videos that reflect the energy, joy, and spiritual focus of the camp experience.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to assist in other areas as needed, including participating in other camp activities and helping with non-videography-related tasks.
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, making them feel comfortable and involved in the video content.
Age Requirement
18 years or older, with relevant videography experience. A portfolio of work is required for application, but formal education is unnecessary.
