Overview

The Photographer at Eagle Sky Christian Challenge Camps is responsible for capturing the vibrant spirit and unforgettable moments of our camp experience. This role involves documenting daily activities, special events, and the natural beauty of the campgrounds through high-quality photos that will be used for promotional materials, social media, and memory keepsakes for our guests. The Photographer should have a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling. Flexibility and creativity are essential, as you may be called upon to assist in other areas.

Qualifications

  • A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrating His Lordship and servant leadership in all aspects of life.
  • Proven experience in photography, with a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to capture candid, dynamic, and impactful images.
  • Proficiency in using professional photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and editing software such as Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and timing to capture high-quality images in various settings and conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and interact positively with guests.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines while covering multiple events throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Quiet Time: Dedicate personal time each day to connect with the Lord and seek His guidance for your work.
  • Event Coverage: Capture high-quality photos of daily activities, worship services, and special events, ensuring that all aspects of camp life are documented.
  • Editing and Organization: Edit and organize photos daily, ensuring they are ready for use in promotional materials, social media, and guest keepsakes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, event coordinators, and other staff to ensure that critical moments and important aspects of camp life are captured.
  • Creativity: Develop creative shot ideas and compositions that reflect the energy, joy, and spiritual focus of the camp experience.
  • Flexibility: Be ready to assist in other areas as needed, including participating in different camp activities and helping with non-photography-related tasks.
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner while capturing their experiences, making them feel comfortable and at ease.

Age Requirement

18 years or older, with relevant photography experience. A portfolio of work is required for application, but formal education is unnecessary.
