Overview
The primary responsibility of a lifeguard is to help ensure safety and protect the campers as they enjoy recreational time in the water. You will be assisting the recreation team and bringing energy and excitement to preparing the games for the guests.
Qualifications
- A strong swimmer who can complete the requirements to pass the open water lifeguard certification that will be completed at Eagle Sky of the Ozarks.
- A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ that demonstrates the Lordship of Christ and models servant spiritual leadership to the guests
- Experience in working with children in a church context or other related avenues.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic, willing and able to follow an exhausting weekly schedule yet flexible when needed.
Responsibilities
- Have personal quiet time each day with the Lord
- Work with your team as you prepare for daily recreation and lifeguard responsibilities.
- Take your position seriously as you scan the station that you are assigned to for swimmers and those playing near the water.
- Maintain a safe working environment for the recreation of the guests of Eagle Sky of the Ozarks
- Make sure that the Lifeguard stations are clean and safe
- Work with the guests in games and recreation to provide a positive and fun experience
- Be willing to help others as assigned by your leaders for the team who serve at Eagle Sky of the Ozarks
- Serve the guests as they arrive and leave with luggage and other needs as necessary
Age Requirement
18 years old or older; lifeguards will be trained and certified at Eagle Sky
