POSITION TITLE: Teen Camp Manager – Exempt Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Teen Camp Manager oversees all aspects of the teen camp program, creating an environment where teens can encounter God, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their faith. This role requires dynamic leadership, creativity, and a heart for mentoring teens, ensuring that the camp experience is fun, safe, and spiritually transformative.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Mission and Vision Alignment:
- Actively support and communicate the mission and values of Eagle Sky Christian Camp.
- Integrate biblical teaching and discipleship into camp activities and interactions.
Program Leadership:
- Plan, develop, and lead all aspects of the teen camp program, including activities, worship, and small group sessions.
- Create a safe, fun, and spiritually impactful environment for teens.
- Continually evaluate and refine programs to ensure they meet the needs of campers and align with the camp’s mission.
Discipleship and Mentoring:
- Develop and facilitate intentional discipleship opportunities for teens.
- Provide spiritual leadership, guidance, and support to campers.
Staff Supervision:
- Recruit, train, and oversee teen camp counselors and volunteers.
- Schedule and manage staff assignments, ensuring smooth operation of all programs.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence among staff.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all activities and programs adhere to safety protocols and camp policies.
- Address behavioral and safety concerns promptly and professionally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Education, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience working with teens in a camp, ministry, or youth program setting.
- Experience in program planning, leadership, and counseling.
Certifications:
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during camp sessions.
- Physical ability to lead outdoor activities and handle camp-related tasks.
