POSITION TITLE: Executive Director / COO – Exempt Position
REPORTS TO: CEO
POSITION SUMMARY: The Eagle Sky of the Ozarks (ESO) Executive Director / COO is the senior onsite Leadership and Management Executive.

Essential Functions
1. Overall:
- Support the Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Core Values, and Statement of Faith of The Eagle Sky Foundation.
- Incorporate the Eagle Sky culture and character development of Caring, Honesty, Trustworthiness, Respect, Fairness, Responsibility, and Accountability and incorporate these character traits when interacting with the Board, Staff, Guests, and the Public.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all staff, including summer staff.
2. Program Leadership and Management:
- Ensure the planning, implementation, and quality of All Camp Programs.
- Responsible for knowing, understanding, and overseeing the implementation of all regulations and licensing.
- Provide a Camp Leadership Program for all Directors and Managers
- Knowledgeable of all Program areas
- Coordinate all Programs and Activities
3. Supervision:
- Responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating all Directors.
- Conduct Staff Meetings and Training
- Work with the Board and CEO as necessary
4. Property Management:
- Responsible for ensuring all Camp Property is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and operable conditions at all times.
- Assure all staff and volunteers are trained to safely and properly use Camp equipment and supplies.
5. Budget:
- Work with the CFO to develop an Annual Operating Budget and an Annual Capital Expenditure Budget for approval by the Board of Directors.
- Monitor income and expenses and stay within budget, reporting all variances for +/- 5% to the CEO
- Monitor staffing requirements and make recommendations to the CEO
- Provide monthly reports to the CEO regarding all guest and staffing
6. Camp Promotion and Community Relations:
- Design and implement a Marketing Program
- Develop Marketing materials in a timely and efficient manner
- Develop a Program to communicate with alumni and donors regularly
7. Financial Development:
- Develop and Cultivate a broad Donor Base
- Develop and Implement Fund Raising Programs
- Develop a Grant application program
8. Volunteer Development:
- Make recommendations to the CEO for developing a Volunteer Program
9. Qualifications:
- Accredited 4-year college degree
- Must obtain any necessary certifications
- Three years minimum experience in a supervisory capacity; previous experience as a successful Christian Camp Executive Director is Highly Desirable
Camp Housing
- The Executive Director is required to live on Camp Property. A modern 3-5 bedroom home will be provided.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work nontraditional hours in a salaried exempt role
- Ability to be ambulatory in the camp setting
- Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate

- Base Salary: To be negotiated based on qualifications and experience
